Trial Highlights ’07 |
| |
Pat Dacey led the Firm in verdicts this year, going 6-1. Of course, the one he lost is all he wants to talk about. Please call him to ask him how it feels to lose big! He loves to be reminded how he never should have lost that case.
Dan Jahnsen and Tom Walters collaborated on the biggest win of the year, a reinsurance arbitration with over $8,000,000 in play. They say they won, but that stuff is so boringly complex, we’re not entirely sure and we can never stay awake long enough to get all the details.
Terry Bolan took multiple verdicts this year, but Lenny Kushnir’s big no-cause verdict on December 13, 2007 in Mercer County was the highlight for all of us. Before adjourning for the night on December 12, and after having already deliberated over two and a half hours, the jury asked a proximate cause question.
Of course, we all gave Lenny tons of support by telling him that a loss meant he was fired. Now Lenny knows what it’s like to be a real trial lawyer.
